Bold patterned porcelain stemmed cups / ice coupes by Emma Odenkirchen - Set of 3

Handbuilt from porcelain clay in my studio in the Netherlands. The pattern begins with colour studies and sketches — crayons on paper, brushes on clay — until it clicks into place like a visual puzzle. Decorated with glazes and techniques I developed myself over the years.

This piece is an expression of how I experience the world: in patterns, colours, details and associations.

Details: Interior fully glazed. The exterior is finished with original underglaze recipes developed in the studio, sealed with clear glaze.
